The Right Voice On Hold

Finding the right voice on hold is one of the most critical elements of your on hold productions.  The voice on hold  you choose for your music and messages on hold must not only sound professional, but most also provide a completely convincing read of your on hold scripts.  Voice on hold work is often done by actors.  As in theatre or the movies, if the actor is not convincing, then the production simply is not compelling.  Make sure whatever company you choose uses voice on hold talent that convey your on hold scripts convincingly, compellingly and effectively.

Evaluating voice on hold talent can be a tricky and subjective task.  While having a pleasing sounding voice is critical, it is not the only ingredient in finding the right voice on hold.  How they approach on hold scripts is critical.  Ideally you want a voice on hold that conveys your telephone advertising and other on hold content in a way that callers relate to and feel comfortable with.  The voice on hold should not sound like they are reading from a script (which of course, they are).  Hearing a sample of the voice on hold reading content typical of an on hold script is vital in evaluating them for your on hold productions.
